This is a combination of bronze, stainless steel, and blown glass. The stretched skin between the tentacles created in bronze, provide a large canopy when viewed from below. The details hidden away include a bronze beak which they use for crushing the shells of their prey. This piece can be hung as shown or worked into an outdoor landscape. Custom bronze chain is available for hanging. (With this display as shown a chain was used.) This life size octopus, with its flowing tentacles appears light and free flowing. It's an impressive combination of metal and glass working together.
