| Rhino at Delta Departure Terminal - Logan Airport | RETURN TO MENU |
![]() Thursday night we brought the bronze rhino sculpture into Delta's departure terminal at Logan Airport in Boston on a flat bed trailer. |
![]() With the help of a huge front end loader we carefully set him down on the side walk. |
![]() With the help of friends we rolled him into the building and down the corridor. As big as he is, we moved right along and got him to the spot we picked out. |
![]() The rhino will now be on display here at Logan for the next three months. I'm sure he'll make friends while he's there. |

Revised plan. This was the photoshop version of the exhibit.

This is the final installation. In the end, some things were added and others removed to get it to a place of balance. The background is a billboard photograph that is adhered to the wall. We used fewer rocks to lighten up the exhibit. In the end I was pleased and I'm told passengers often stop to look at all the little details of this seascape sculpture. Little bronze crabs, and sculptural coral pieces are all mixed in to give the viewer some hidden treasures to discover. |
